The CISI has offered the Certificate in Global Securities qualification through training provider BIBF’s educational dealing room in Bahrain.
The dealing room was inaugurated recently under the Patronage of H.E. Rasheed Mohammed Al Maraj, Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain and Chairman of the Specific Council for Vocational Training (Banking Sector). The facility includes 22 trading stations equipped with market tools that link with Bloomberg and Thomson Reuters Eikon. It has a live link to the dealing rooms of partners in London, providing clients with unique exposure to live trading in the global markets.
The Certificate in Global Securities is part of the CISI’s Capital Markets Programme, a wide ranging group of exams developed for practitioners in the capital markets wholesale sector advising and/or dealing in securities and/or derivatives. Reflecting the needs of an international marketplace, these programmes offer flexibility as candidates can choose units of study covering Securities, Derivatives and Financial Derivatives.
