Dear Review,
Some CISI members may have read the article in the Review digital edition in June when I attended a military parachute course to raise funds for the Parachute Regimental Association Charity to support veterans and their families.
I was trained by Red Devils and paras, completed three jumps and was awarded Pathfinder parachute wings.
Well, as an update I have now raised £4,300 and would invite any members who may wish to make a donation to do so via my Virgin money giving fundraising page,
I undertook this appeal to commemorate the bravery of our veterans on the 70th anniversary this year of D-Day (in June) and the Battle of Arnhem (in September) when tens of thousands of paratroopers took part.

Dear Review
Much has happened in financial services over the last few years including the banking crisis, greater regulation, technological advances and diminishing pension expectations.
A colleague, Beth Harvey, and I have been discussing these and many other issues and how they are affecting careers in this area. Beth, a learning and development executive, pointed out that we needed to find out what is happening so we have designed a survey to find out some facts.
Simply, we are asking financial services professionals over the age of 40, whether employed or not, to answer 12 short questions. It is anonymous as the data collected will be used in aggregate and anyone who asks will be sent a copy of the executive summary.
So we invite your members to either complete the survey or forward it to any colleagues or other interested parties.
See here for more information about us or the process. Thank you for your time and we will keep you informed of developments.
