The organisations signed an MoU which was witnessed by Alderman Alan Yarrow, Lord Mayor of the City of London, during his recent trip to Malaysia. Alderman Yarrow is the Chairman of the CISI and was born in Malaysia.
Under the agreement, the CISI and HELP University will provide training and coaching to enable candidates to undertake a wealth management pathway through professional, globally recognised qualifications.
HELP University will offer students training courses for the following CISI qualifications:
- Fundamentals of Financial Services
- International Introduction to Securities and Investment
- International Certificate in Wealth and Investment Management
- International Certificate in Advance Wealth Management
- Chartered Wealth Manager Qualification
- Capital Markets Programme
- Diploma in Capital Markets
- Certificate in Corporate Finance
One year’s free student membership of the CISI will also be provided to all HELP students who enrol for CISI exams and complementary membership, at the appropriate level, to HELP academics.
The CISI has been working in the Asia Pacific region for ten years and has its regional office in Singapore. The CISI has over 100 Corporate Supporters and two of them, HSBC and Maybank, were represented at the signing ceremony.
