Mel Nicholls specialises in middle distance events in the T34 classification. She competed in the 2012 Summer Paralympics and won a silver medal in the 800m at the 2015 IPC Athletics World Championships.
47 guests contributed a total of £300 in aid of Youth Adventure Trust, which has been using outdoor adventure to help inspire young lives for the past 25 years. Young Adventure Trust believes that all vulnerable young people should have access to personal development opportunities so they can fulfil their potential in the future.
