The European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies (EFFAS), of which the CISI is a full member, will hold its 8
th annual summer school at Santander Financial City, near Madrid, from 8-10 July.
EFFAS brings together leading experts from all of Europe’s equity and fixed income markets and its summer school offers an opportunity to keep up to date with latest developments across its member countries.
The event will include workshops, conferences, panel discussions and lectures on hot topics with a line up of top speakers from various national associations and industry sectors. All sessions will be held in English.
The school is suitable for CISI members at MCSI grade and above.
Main topics under consideration will be:
- Professional conduct for financial markets
- Digital trends in asset management
- Future skills and profiles for investment professionals in financial markets
- Environmental, social and governance issues
- Integrated reporting as a global initiative in sustainability.
EFFAS Chairman Jesús López Zaballos said the summer school offered a “unique opportunity” to get an inside view of EFFAS and its activities.
Only 200 places are available and anyone interested in attending must register by 30 May 2015. Delegates will be required to pay their travel costs and €400 for administration and tutorial expenses (€350 if paid before 30 April 2015).
