Today, it is all too easy to allow the more challenging aspects of our professional and personal lives to dominate our thinking. The lockdown experience, with its prolonged working from home period has, for many professionals, blurred the lines between professional and private life even further. The constant barrage of bad experiences can lead us to believe that a negative pattern is starting to form, and we can begin to expect the worst for the future. Mindfulness helps to bring our focus and attention into the here and now and seeks to break cycles of negativity in how we view ourselves and the world around us.
