Successful business models and the workplace are constantly evolving, but the pace of change is increasing. In 2020, following the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis, many of the trends which had been relatively latent became the dominant means for companies to operate. These included going from working in a traditional ‘bricks-and-mortar’ office and holding meetings in boardrooms to operating in a nearly fully virtual setting. This module will examine how firms successfully undergo the transformation to technology-enabled businesses and convert to, and manage, a workforce that is more flexible, productive, and potentially distributed around the globe.
