The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) is delighted to award its first ever ‘Partner University’ designation in Cyprus to the European University of Cyprus (‘EUC’).

The achievement means that the EUC will offer the CISI’s ‘Investment Management’ and ‘Risk in Financial Services’ exams from September 2016.

This exam will be taught as part of the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Finance and Investments programme at the EUC.

The agreement states that the CISI is also offering free membership to students for the duration of the relevant programme. In addition those enrolling on the programme will be given the opportunity to be entered for the CISI online Integrity Test free of charge.

The CISI works in partnership with ifsMalta and International Vocational College Malta to promote its examinations to those working in the investment industry in Malta.

Key CISI qualifications have been approved by the Malta Qualifications Council as appropriate for those working in the investment industry in Malta. The most recent additions to this list have been CISI's Investment Advice Diploma, International Certificate in Investment Management, Global Financial Compliance and Combating Financial Crime qualifications.

The Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) also recognises a number of CISI qualifications as relevant for securities dealers, and has recently recognised CISI's Chartered Wealth Manager Qualification as being an appropriate qualification for wealth and portfolio managers in Malta. 

The Institute now has the following accredited training providers ((ATPs)) in the Kingdom – Al Ghad Training Institute, the Bahrain Institute of Banking & Finance, BFX Training Institute (the education arm of the new Bahrain Financial Exchange), Fitch Leaning – Bahrain and the Gulf Insurance Institute.
