    by David Giles | Dec 18, 2015
We are looking for CISI members to help the Institute connect with schools and the wider community in London.

Some of the projects CISI branches are involved with:
    • Teaching posts in Liverpool and Leeds
    • Careers talks in schools in East Midlands and Lincoln
    • Work experience placements in London
    • Sponsoring learning manuals and exams in Jersey
    • New apprentices at Rathbones Liverpool are blogging about their experiences as they complete a two year on-the-job training programme, including the CISI's IOC.

Ways you, or your firm, can lend a hand…

Visit a school - Inspire students with advice and insight from the industry, either through a presentation or through mentoring. The CISI can supply you with an engaging ‘get into finance’ presentation, or we’ll help develop your own, and, we’ll give you ‘get into finance’ resources to provide to the students. Alternatively, you may prefer to talk about personal finance. We have both a presentation and books on personal finance (#yourmoney).

Host a visit at your offices - Give students a taster of life in your organisation and help bring their course to life.

Work experience - Our Investing in Futures programme connects financial services firms with Year 12 and Year 13 students (age 16-18) studying CISI qualifications through work experience opportunities.
Would your firm be interested in becoming involved?

Financial sponsorship - Help schools to meet the cost of teaching or sponsor a student (learning manuals and exams) Or purchase copies of #yourmoney and donate to a school/college or local library
