The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) is delighted to announce the signing of an agreement with Compliance and Risk Consultancy Ltd, (CRC) to promote and train for CISI qualifications across Africa.
The CISI has been growing its footprint in Africa over the last five years and now has projects underway in 12 countries – focusing on providing internationally recognised professional qualifications to support individuals and capacity building initiatives in financial services. CISI qualifications are a requirement for licensing by the capital markets regulators in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania and Zambia and are recognised by the African Securities Exchanges Association.
CRC subsidiary Africa division, based in Mauritius, will train for not only the CISI’s Global Financial Compliance qualification, but will also offer training for the foundation level qualifications as well as the Corporate Finance Certificate and Islamic Finance Qualification.
